Description
The front of the mug depicts a trio of little owls. One of the owls is all dressed up for spooky season with a witch’s hat on its head. They have perched on a branch with autumnal leaves in shades of orange, brown and purple and behind them, bats fly in front of the orange sun. The illustration has a wonderful contrast against the crisp white background of the ceramics. The design is repeated on the back of the mug and is painted in wonderful natural tones in Hannah Dales signature watercolour style and the image is surrounded by Wrendale’s trademark speckling design which adds an extra touch of detail and contrast. On the inside rim of the mug is the text ‘Happy Owl-oween’ in a beautiful cursive font with a pumpkin either side.
